Meet Your Local Flower Farmers…
Blooms is a family-operated flower farm in Laporte, Colorado, run by sisters-in-law, Gretchen & Gaylene. We use only responsible and organic practices with a focus on soil health. Established in 2017, our farm specializes in spring bulbs, peonies, dahlias, specialty perennial cuts, unique foliage and all things ornamental for autumn. We are honored to be a part of this Northern Colorado Flower Community. Thank you for dedication to local Colorado farms!
Blush Flowers on Vine is a 15-acre farm founded in 2014 and nestled in the heart of Fort Collins. We provide fresh, locally grown cut flowers to the florists of Northern Colorado and the Denver area. We offer 100+ varieties from our sustainable farm to local florists, all of them grown with organic practices and maintaining high soil productivity as a goal. The two main floriculturists at Blush Flowers on Vine are Sue and Riley along with a menagerie of dogs (ranch security), cats (vole patrol), and chickens (bad bug slayers). We put a ton of thought into choosing what we grow and work hard all season to provide you with fresh, spectacular, and unique flowers to make your designs shine. We so appreciate the support you bring to the local flower movement!
Cherry Farm Flowers is a family owned and operated specialty cut flower farm, located on land that was purchased by my grandparents in the 50's. Founded in 2015, we make the most of just under 1 acre, sustainably growing flowers and foliages, including favorites like peonies, lisianthus, amaranthus, stock, snapdragons, zinnias and more. It gives us such happiness to produce a wide variety of beautiful blooms, selling on our roadside flower stand to our Northern Colorado community and wholesale directly to local designers and florists.
Little Hollow Flowers is owned and operated by Dustin Saunders and Kate Davenport. Inspired by our shared interest in all things botanical, our mission is to provide greater access to locally grown flowers along Colorado’s Front Range, to showcase unique varieties that reflect the beauty and diversity found throughout our local landscapes, and to apply growing techniques that are well suited to our farm’s region and scale. Our work is driven by a love for flowers and the joy of sharing them.
Old McConnell Farm, owned by Kyle and Sarah, is nestled along the South Platte River on the outskirts of Evans, CO. The home was built in 1943. While remodeling the kitchen, Sarah found a note that read, “Please take care of this country cottage.” The couple has since tried to do just that by restoring and repairing the home and 30-acre property. The farm is home to pigs, cattle, chickens, cats, dogs, and a family of four with a love for agriculture. Sarah is a sixth-generation farmer with a background in floral design, and a goal to bring fresh flowers to the local wholesale market.
Welcome to Rocky Mountain Blooms, I'm Diana. When we bought our three-acre property 16 years ago in Loveland it was my dream to start a flower farm. It became a reality in 2018. I initially focused on dahlias, which I have grown for over 30 years. It has always been my favorite since I lived in Oregon in the late 90's just five miles from Swan Island Dahlias. I love experimenting with new varieties of flowers that are compatible in our Colorado climate and region. I now grow over 50 varieties of cut flowers. I’ve added some new favorites over the years, sweet peas and lisianthus. Let's grow the domestic flower community, one stem at a time! Thank you to the NOCO Flower Community for creating these opportunities.
Wozani Farm bursts with all sorts of blooms; natives, drought tolerant and dreamy annuals, each one a testament to the power of harmony with nature. My name is Liz, and as a South African, I've always felt a deep connection to the land, like my parents and grandparents who were all farmers at one point. At Wozani, we don't just grow flowers; we nurture our land, fostering the delicate dance of life within the soil and beyond.
The NOCO Flower Community continues to grow every year! Our goal is to sell local flowers to every floral designer in Northern Colorado and Southern Wyoming. If you are a flower farmer and have interest in joining our collective, we consider new applications during the late fall and winter off-season. Watch our Instagram postings for the release of NOCO FC applications in late autumn. Or shoot us an email if you just want to talk about the flower business! We look forward to the opportunity to visit with flower farms about the idea of joining our community.
